8月末にリリースしたサーバをちょっくら契約して触ることがあったので簡単にレポート。

単位はbpsなので、940Mbps程度出ていることになる。ネットワークはすっかすかなので、使い切ってくれても良いよと言われたなぁ。てことで、SSD版のKVM VPSは非常にパフォーマンスがよいのでお勧めかな。
SSDにしては、Writeが遅い。どうやら、爆速にするか、スナップショットを無停止で取れるようにするかというところで、停めたくないというニーズが多く、性能を犠牲にして無停止スナップショットを実装するため、Writeの性能が遅くなったようだ。
にしても、このスペックであれば、WriteはSASHDDを使ったRAID相当だけど、Readは爆速といった所、メモリ、利用可能なネットワーク帯域などを含めても、さくらのVPS以上ではなかろうか。可用性重視のシステムなので、そう言う用途では在処も知れない。そう言えば今回もサーバーはHPなのかなぁ。とおもったら、サイトにはHP社の、、、と書いてあった。あそこはHP大好きだよね、無駄に高性能な物も多い。会社柄なので、羨ましい限りだ。
あと、改善してもらいたいのは、逆引きが出来ないとか、そう言う以前の問題で、逆引きしてるのに、正引きがないというクソ仕様は相変わらず。直すつもりは無さそうなのでメールサーバーでは向かないでしょう。てか、MTAを動かさせない策略なのかも知れません。この点は要注意。
SSHで繋ぐときにも警告が出ます。
パフォーマンスに関してはこの価格帯にしてこのスペックであれば申し分ないので、お勧めできそうです。
